Rochester Hills, MI – Snap-on Incorporated is pleased to announce further enhancements to its USB-Link™ diagnostic adapter. The USB-Link™ now supports J2534 and RP1210B application program interfaces (APIs). The USB-Link™ provides protocol support for ISO 15765, CAN, J1939, J1708, and J1850.
The USB-Link™ unit provides a single solution for multiple OEM diagnostic software, including recently added support for ATEC 160 for Allison Transmissions. The diagnostic tool is compliant with Directive 2002/95/EC (known as RoHS), which originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.
