Rochester Hills, MI – NEXIQ Technologies™, a Snap-on Inc. brand, has released the Pro-Link iQ™ Heavy Duty Standard (HDS) J1939 Application. This addition to the suite of Pro-Link iQ™ diagnostic applications provides the functions necessary to diagnose most SAE J1939 EPA ’07 and newer (i.e., 2007 – current) electronically controlled engines. With the combined power of the easy-to-use Pro-Link iQ™ and the functionality of the HDS J1939 application, service bay technicians experience unprecedented out-of-the-box productivity.
The HDS J1939 Application provides read-only information for the Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and NAVISTAR-International engines. (The ability to clear codes on Caterpillar electronic engines is not available.)
Basic functionality includes the ability to read and clear both active and inactive fault codes, view non-proprietary parameters, engine data, DPF fault codes/data, and trip information.
