NEXIQ Technologies™ Releases Pro-Link iQ™ Caterpillar® Electronic Engines Application

Rochester Hills, MI — October 15, 2009 — Snap-on Incorporated is currently developing a new software application for its Pro-Link iQ™ handheld diagnostic platform—Caterpillar® Electronic Engines Application. The Caterpillar® Electronic Engines Application will be released under the Snap-on NEXIQ Technologies™ brand. This state-of-the-art product for heavy duty truck service bay technicians will be available in November 2009.
 
The Pro-Link iQ™ Caterpillar® Electronic Engines software application provides reprogramming and diagnostic capability for CAT® electronic engines. With the combined power of the easy-to-use Pro-Link iQ™ and the functionality of the Caterpillar® Electronic Engines software application, service bay technicians experience unprecedented out-of-the-box productivity.

Coverage is provided for the following Caterpillar® engines: 3116, 3126, 3176, 3406, C-9, C-10, C-12,
C-15, and C-16 (for vehicle years 1990 through 2003).
